Situated in the heart of Leicester Square, we are seeking hospitality professionals whose unique talents and ambitions will drive them to not only rise to our guests' exacting standards but also propel their own career potential in a company that recognises and rewards potential.
We are currently recruiting for a Host/Hostess for our standout restaurant, Whitcomb's at The Londoner. This high-end restaurant is a very popular venue and is key to the Londoner experience. Please note that this position is available on a P/T basis for 24 hours per week.
Overview:
- An amazing opportunity to join our 5 Star Luxury Hotel, The Londoner as a Host or Hostess in Whitcomb's.
- You will be responsible for allocating tables for guests for the lunch or dinner service that day.
- You will welcome guests to the restaurants, seat them at their table, explain the concept of the restaurant and introduce them to their waiter/ess.
- You are responsible for the smooth running of the guest service and arrival experience within the restaurant.
- You will be competent with IT applications such as Open Table, Adecco and Micros and able to achieve a 100% pass mark in Micros competency tests.
About You:
- Previous experience of working in a high-end food led operation as a host or hostess is essential.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Impeccable command of the English language both written and spoken.
- Passion for food and beverage and keeping up to date with the latest food trends.
