Welcome to The Londoner, a hotel that is chic boutique in spirit and feeling yet staggering in scale and ambition. Situated in the heart of Leicester Square, we are seeking hospitality professionals whose unique talents and ambitions will drive them to not only rise to our guests' exacting standards but also propel their own career potential in a company that recognises and rewards.

We are currently recruiting for a Bar General Manager for The Stage and The Residence at The Londoner. The Stage offers our guests an exclusive Champagne Bar, which also serves a high-end afternoon tea, followed by charcuterie in the evening. The Residence is a collection of three beautifully designed spaces just for hotel residents.

As Bar General Manager, you will be responsible for achieving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals for The Stage through upselling and excellent customer service. You will direct the Bar and floor team to ensure both customer and staff satisfaction is achieved in a motivated and cohesive environment. Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels. Implement and develop strategies to improve where necessary alongside the management team. Be responsible for ensuring staff training, recruitment, coaching, and developing the team is at the forefront of the role, with clear training plans and objectives.

About You

In-depth knowledge of the London restaurant and liquor trends, experience of afternoon teas and champagne would be advantageous. To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks, leadership, and coaching skills. Current supervisory experience within a similar environment, ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and customer service skills, and precision are essential. Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets in order to meet and exceed expectations.
