The incoming Director of Technology Strategy & Architecture at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) will inherit a high-performing architecture and strategy practice with a strong and diverse team ready to take the tech strategy to the next level and multiply the global impact of LSE.

The Director of Technology Strategy & Architecture leads the development and implementation of the architectural and digital strategic vision across the School.

Reporting to the CIO, Nick Gilbert, the Director will work collaboratively with key institutional leaders and the LSE tech team to shape what's possible, driving an architectural approach that enables, rather than constrains. They will lead with humanity and collaborative spirit, and inherit, support and develop a high-performing architecture and strategy team, consisting of roles such as Data, Infrastructure, Solution and Enterprise Architects, and Head of Technology Transformation and create a modern approach to innovation, helping world-leading academics, staff, and students access the cutting-edge possibilities of a technology enabled world.

Successful candidates will not only bring proven experience in a senior architecture or strategy role within a complex organisation or sector context but will, as importantly, live the evidence of their deep commitment to fostering a truly collaborative, authentic, and equitable and diverse culture for global impact.
