The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the world’s leading universities. The Human Resources Division within LSE supports all people management activity across the School and is committed to delivering high quality and customer-focused services. We currently have an opportunity for a learning & development professional to join our Organisational Learning and Development team. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a diverse and interesting environment and contribute your skills and experience within an established, high-performing team.

In this exciting role you will design and manage learning and development opportunities for staff across the LSE, that both help to further organisational effectiveness and staff development and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Design and manage learning and development opportunities for staff across LSE.
  • Develop learning programmes including leadership and management, change management, coaching and mentoring, inductions, and appraisals.
  • Lead and motivate a team.
  • Use digital skills including learning management systems, presentation skills, facilitate learning events, and writing skills.
  • Manage projects and deal with frequently changing and multiple priorities.
  • Communicate and influence confidently.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in Organisational Learning and Development, supporting a complex and diverse organisation.
  • Experience developing learning programmes and leading teams.
  • Digital skills including LMS, presentation, facilitation, and writing.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
