Salary: £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance. This is a career development position and is fixed term for two years, starting in September 2026.
The Department of Social Policy at LSE is the longest established in the UK and has received the highest possible rating in all Research Assessment Exercises carried out in the UK. The 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject place the Department of Social Policy 4th in the world.
We are looking to recruit an LSE Fellow to teach on our BSc and MSc in International Social and Public Policy. You will be able to make important contributions to teaching and supervising our undergraduate and postgraduate students, while also being fully engaged in our vibrant research culture.
Qualifications- By the post’s start date, completed or be close to obtaining a PhD in Social Policy, Public Policy or another area related to the needs of the post (such as but not limited to Economics, Political Science, Sociology).
- The ability to teach on departmental courses in international social and public policy.
- Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- The potential to produce internationally excellent publications in international social and public policy.
- Additionally teaching-related administrative experience, including working with virtual learning environments (e.g. Moodle), would be an advantage.
