Overview
In this fixed-term role, you will lead safeguarding casework and help strengthen safeguarding policy and practice across LSE.
You will manage a caseload of safeguarding concerns, working independently while contributing to an interdisciplinary Student Wellbeing Service.
The role supports students and staff across the university and aligns with a project to review and enhance safeguarding provision.

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of safeguarding concerns with independence and integrity
- Lead on safeguarding policy and practice development across the School
- Support and shore up safeguarding procedures through the project initiative
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
- Contribute to staff and student wellbeing through safeguarding initiatives
- Ensure compliance with DBS checks and safeguarding standards
- Represent safeguarding considerations in cross-functional teams
- Key requirements
- Significant safeguarding experience with under-18s and adults-at-risk
- Experience in Higher Education, workplace counselling, or similar environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with safeguarding policy development and implementation
