Department of Management

The Department of Management at the London School of Economics (LSE) is home to research and teaching strengths in Employment Relations & Human Resource Management, Information Systems & Innovation, Managerial Economics and Strategy, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour and Operations Management.

Undergraduate degrees include the BSc Management; postgraduate programmes comprise one–year and two–year MSc in Management, and six specialist one‑year MSc programmes.

Position: LSE Fellow in Management (Employment Relations and Human Resource or Organisational Behaviour)

Salary: £43,277 to £51,714 pa (potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance). This is a fixed‑term, two‑year appointment starting 1 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach postgraduate and/or undergraduate courses in Employment Relations & Human Resource Management or Organisational Behaviour.
  • Conduct innovative research in your specialism and contribute to the department’s broader research agenda.
  • Publish in well‑recognised peer‑reviewed outlets and present at international conferences.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ph D in Management with a focus on Employment Relations & Human Resource Management or Organisational Behaviour, or a closely related discipline, completed or in the final stage of completion by the start date.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of your specialism and breadth beyond that specialism.
  • Developing research record in reputable peer‑reviewed outlets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
