Salary is £27,030 inclusive of London allowance. Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 14:00 hours – 22:00 hours.

We are seeking a motivated full-time Porter to join our evening Portering Team, working from 14:00 – 22:00 across our central London Campus. As part of the Estates Division, the Portering team plays a key role in providing support for staff and students to ensure that campus events and functions are able to run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • The main duties involve a variety of tasks from minor office moves, as well as supporting major School events such as Exams, Open Days, Graduation and Conferences.
  • The portering team works closely with other teams within Estates to ensure continuity of service.
  • Opportunity for overtime is also available as the needs of the School arise.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in furniture moving or related field is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations related to manual handling and fire safety.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to meeting service level agreements and delivering high-quality service.
  • Capable of delivering practical, helpful, and friendly advice and information.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willing and able to work overtime when required.
