Salary: £27,030 pa inclusive of London allowance (pro-rata hourly rate of £14.80 per hour)

Shift Times:

  • Vacancy 1 – 15 hours weekly: 06:00 – 09:00 (Monday‑Friday)
  • Vacancy 2 – 14 hours weekly: 06:00 – 14:00 (Saturday & Sunday) (1‑hour unpaid lunch)
  • Vacancy 3 – 7 hours weekly: 06:00 – 14:00 (1 day either Saturday or Sunday) (1‑hour unpaid lunch)
  • Vacancy 4 – 25 hours weekly: 17:00 – 22:00 (Monday‑Friday)
  • Vacancy 5 – 14 hours weekly: 10:00 – 18:00 (Saturday & Sunday) (1‑hour unpaid lunch)

The post holder will work for the multifaceted Estates Division as an integral member of the Facility Management Team, responsible for delivering day‑to‑day cleaning, janitorial servicing, and periodic works for any of the campus and halls of residence buildings.

Post holder should have:

  • A good standard of verbal and written communication in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in cleaning and/or housekeeping.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of health & safety and fire safety.
  • Experience working as part of a team and contributing to effective team performance.
