The Alumni Engagement Officer (London & UK) role is situated in the Philanthropy and Global Engagement (PAGE) division. This is a full-time, open-ended appointment with a salary from ÂŁ36,513 to ÂŁ41,565 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to ÂŁ44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance.

The PAGE division builds lifelong relationships with alumni, volunteers, donors and partners to support LSE’s mission and global impact.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Alumni Engagement Officer to play a central role in delivering outstanding alumni experiences on campus and across London and the UK. Based in LSE’s Alumni Centre, this role is crucial in shaping and delivering engaging programmes and events, supporting flagship moments such as Graduation and Welcome Week, and ensuring the Alumni Centre operates as a welcoming, vibrant and professional space for alumni, supporters and partners.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Help design and deliver engaging alumni programmes and events for London and UK alumni, both on campus and across the UK.
  • Play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Alumni Centre, ensuring a high-quality, concierge-level experience for visitors.
  • Support flagship events and campaigns, contributing to planning, delivery and on-the-day experience.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for alumni, supporters and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with alumni volunteers and colleagues across the School to deliver impactful, well-coordinated activity.

About You:

You will have:

  • The ability to devise mass-participation activities that engage target audiences and a proven track record facilitating events or managing a space.
  • The ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities at pace and a willingness to use initiative to solve problems.
  • The ability to work independently but also be a team player willing to work with or support others to achieve wider team goals.

This is a campus-based role, reflecting the in-person nature of the Alumni Centre and its programmes. We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
