Faculty Affairs Manager

Salary from £42,679 to £51,000 with potential to progress to £54,730 per annum inclusive of the London allowance

This post is fixed term for 12 months

The Department of Management is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised, efficient and hardworking individual to work as part of our fast-paced professional services team. The post holder will be based in the Department’s Faculty Affairs team, supporting and leading on recruitment campaigns, in addition to providing guidance on related and wider LSE policies and procedures. You will work closely with staff and faculty including senior academic and professional services staff in a dynamic work environment.

You will lead and support on a range of aspects relating to faculty and professional service staff recruitment and onboarding, academic career development, as well as managing academic leave, mentoring and learning and development opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join a busy and friendly team.

You should demonstrate relevant work experience in higher education, with an interest in human resources, as well excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to convey clear and detailed information to various stakeholders at all levels both within and outside LSE. You will have the ability to work with a strong service delivery and a pro-active approach, remaining calm under pressure. You will demonstrate the ability to plan and organise a busy workload with conflicting deadlines. The ability to problem-solve and take appropriate action is essential. You should also have proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
