Department of Management Faculty Affairs Manager

Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 with potential to progress to £55,497 per annum inclusive of the London allowance. This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support recruitment campaigns for faculty and professional service staff.
  • Provide guidance on LSE policies and procedures related to recruitment, onboarding, academic career development, academic leave, mentoring, and learning and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with staff and faculty, including senior academic and professional services staff, in a dynamic work environment.
  • Plan and organise workload with conflicting deadlines; problem-solve and take appropriate action.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in higher education with an interest in human resources.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey clear and detailed information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong service delivery orientation and pro-active approach; calm under pressure.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and manage a busy workload with conflicting deadlines.
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
