LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university. The Philanthropy and Global Engagement Division (PAGE) builds lifelong relationships with alumni, volunteers, donors and partners to support LSE’s mission and global impact. We are looking for a proactive and organised Alumni Engagement Officer (Programmes) to help deliver engaging and innovative programmes that connect alumni with LSE and with each other.

In this role, you will support the delivery of a varied portfolio of alumni engagement programmes, working with colleagues across PAGE and the wider School. You will create meaningful opportunities for alumni to reconnect with LSE and our global community, on campus, online and around the world. You will coordinate programme activity from planning through to delivery and follow-up, ensuring alumni have a positive and well-managed experience. This includes supporting programme tools and platforms such as the Alumni Hub, creating clear and engaging content, and helping recognise and thank alumni for their time and expertise. You will work closely with colleagues around the School to support cross-School activity. You will also use data and insight to help target activity, understand what works, and improve engagement with under-represented or less-engaged alumni groups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, collaborating with others and delivering activity that makes a real difference to a global alumni community.

You will have:

  • Experience supporting or delivering projects, programmes or events, ideally in a higher education, charity or engagement-focused environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders
  • An interest in engagement, volunteering or community-building, and a willingness to use data to improve practice
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm to learn and develop within a supportive team

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.
