Data and Technology Services Agile Delivery Lead Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 per annum inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 per annum inclusive of London allowance. Funding is available to support this position for 3 years. The London School of Economics is a cosmopolitan university situated in the vibrant centre of London that specialises in the study of social sciences. Our Data and Technology Services division provides services to over 14,000 staff and student users. DTS delivers technology‑enabled business change with a focus ranging from strategic and operational business outcomes to service improvements of incumbent services. The scope of DTS projects spans from infrastructure technologies and strategic systems to business processes within end‑user facing services.
The Agile Delivery Lead will be part of the Project Delivery team responsible for the design and implementation of high‑quality solutions to the LSE. They will work within an Integrations Product team, alongside the Senior Agile Delivery lead, and will facilitate smooth product delivery of concurrent initiatives using agile principles and methodologies. They will use their agile, lean and coaching experience to help the team continuously improve, develop and use metrics to drive the team towards their goals and understand areas for improvement. They will keep the team on track, removing impediments and ensuring that the products meet the required outcomes, standards and requirements.
Candidates Should
- Previous experience in an agile delivery role (e.g. Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager, Agile Project Manager, Product Owner)
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in low‑maturity Agile environments and improving maturity over time
- Strong technical background, ideally in systems integration or related areas
