This is a contract role for a Chartered Psychologist-Couples Therapist. The primary responsibilities include:
- Providing therapy to couples
- Conducting psychological assessments
- Creating effective treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
This is a hybrid role based in Greater London, allowing for a combination of in-clinic and work-from-home options.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health practices
- Experience in Psychological Assessment and creating evidence-based treatment plans
- Knowledge of Medicine as it applies to mental health and therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse client populations
- Registration or accreditation with a recognized professional body (e.g., HCPC or BPS)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Previous experience in couples therapy is required
- Training in Behavioural Couples Therapy is desirable
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
