We’re The London Display Company – an ambitious and passionate group, crazy about everything design & build. We’ve got 25 years of experience behind us, and some incredible growth on top! We’ve grown from developing portable displays to now managing highly-skilled joinery of bespoke builds for dozens of established clients across the exhibition industry. We’ve unlocked huge potential to further provide industry-leading builds globally both inside trade event venues and semi permanent locations. Investing in our people is essential to growing our passion, and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for a client facing Mid – Senior level Project Coordinator/ Project Manager with some industry experience to join our small team and help take us to the next level. We’d like you to: Project manage & coordinate incredible exhibition builds with energy and efficiency from start to finish. Demonstrate their experience with delivering mid to complex projects for clients. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to switch between multiple projects at any one time in a similar or like for like role. Demonstrate the ability to delegate and coordinate various teams forming part of a project. The successful candidate understands how to read and view basic to mid level working drawings and conceptual design visuals. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, confident under pressure and committed to going above and beyond for our clients and the team! Liaise daily with the internal team, clients and suppliers both in person and on calls. Stay on top of expenses, tracking costs associated with each project. Where necessary source design details such as furnishings and AV to bring a project together. Be on site for the later part of installations liaising with the build team and client for a smooth delivery onsite. (Both around the UK and occasionally overseas). Compile and complete documentation to facilitate installations for builds. Create timelines to meet internal deadlines and share with all teams involved. Sole project ownership plays a big part of the role where you will manage and be responsible for your own clients and their journey with us. Have a willingness to get stuck in and learn the ropes of the business, with a passion for coordinating teams, communicating with stakeholders and developing project plans. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working as a Project/Account/Event Manager role within exhibition builds, events, retail or similar physical installations. Be able to demonstrate that they can communicate very effectively via phone, email and in-person meetings. Plus have a good understanding of basic software packages and be willing to learn new systems and manipulate financial budgets as part of a project. Be up for some additional hours where required and some travel and overnight stays as part of the job. Most importantly, have a passion for the design and build sector.
