Main duties of the job

From building financial models to explaining changes in performance, your work will turn complex information into clear insights that colleagues can use. This opportunity would suit someone with a foundation in finance who is ready to move towards a more analytical and commercially focused role. You may currently work in management accounts, financial reporting or a similar position and want to build your experience in FP&A.
About us
Our Finance Team works closely with clinical, operational and commercial colleagues to support the effective running of the hospital. You will have the opportunity to understand how different services operate, build relationships across departments and see how your analysis contributes to decisions. Working alongside our FP&A Manager and Head of Strategic Finance, you will broaden your experience in financial modelling, revenue analysis and planning. It is an opportunity to build on your existing knowledge, develop your commercial understanding and grow your confidence in presenting insights to others. As the UK's largest independent charitable hospital, we care for over 120,000 patients each year. What makes us different is what we do with that success. We reinvest it back into our services, our technology and, most importantly, our people. From developing innovative new ways of delivering care to supporting continuous learning and career progression, we're always looking ahead. Based in our main hospital, you'll be part of a team delivering care across 234 beds, 10 theatres and a 13-bed intensive care unit. You will work alongside more than 1,300 colleagues in specialist teams and over 700 consultant surgeons and physicians, all united by a shared commitment to high quality, compassionate care.
