Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Head of Reward to develop and implement a comprehensive reward strategy that supports our ambitious growth goals and enhances employee engagement and satisfaction. This critical role focuses on designing and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring pay equity, and driving a performance-based culture.
Job Type: 12 months fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Head Office – London, NW1 4LJ
Salary: £65,000 per annum, which will be dependent upon skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Shape TLC’s reward strategy in partnership with the Chief People Officer, ensuring alignment with business goals and the People Team strategy.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the creation, execution, and evaluation of competitive compensation structures, including salary, incentives, and benefits.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the People Team, Finance, and business leaders to align reward strategies with organisational goals.
- Performance Culture: Develop a pay-for-performance culture through effective reward and recognition programs.
- Employee Engagement: Communicate effectively with employees about reward programs to enhance understanding and engagement.
Accountabilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning.
- Annual Reviews: Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments and bonus payouts.
- Benefit Programs: Implement and manage benefits programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and organisational goals.
- Feedback & Refinement: Evaluate and refine reward programs based on employee feedback and market trends.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a consultant to business leaders on reward-related matters and build effective working relationships across the organisation .
Requirements:
- Proven experience in compensation and benefits management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation tools.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in healthcare or a highly regulated industry is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively across the organisation to drive results.
- Awareness of global and cultural issues affecting reward management.
