Rotational Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7
Join the Pharmacy Team at The London Clinic’s Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London (W1G 6BW). This is a full‑time, permanent role of 37.5 hours per week, based at the NHS‑equivalent Band 7 position.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive, patient‑centred clinical pharmacy service to designated wards across a variety of disciplines (renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics and reconstructive surgery).
- Lead and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve patient experience.
- Proactively contribute to optimal medicines usage for patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in continuing service improvements in nursing areas.
- Participate in the on‑call pharmacist roster for urgent medicines supply and medicine‑related information.
- Provide pharmacy service during weekends and bank holidays according to an agreed roster.
Skills & Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
- Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
- Patient‑focused, proactive, dynamic – effective as the first point of contact for pharmacy services.
- Organised and flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
