We are looking for an enthusiastic Plastic and Reconstructive Staff Nurse to join our Outpatients department based between various sites on Devonshire Place London.
- Carry out safe, effective and efficient nursing care in liaison with the Plastics CNS, Plastics Outpatients Sister, Healthcare Assistants and Consultants
- Delivery of individualised patient care, ensuring the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation is in line with evidence base practices
- Perform a high standard of post-operative wound care, in line with current guidance
- Assist with minor procedures, utilising precise ANTT skills
- Use professional judgement when assessing patient needs and investigations requiring analysis and intervention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the delivery of high standards of care, including secretarial and administrate staff that may be offsite
- Perform daily safety checks and complete cleaning schedules.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive nursing records, charging and other documentation are maintained using appropriate IT Healthcare systems available
- Respond to emergency calls within the department
- Provide structured escalation of concerns regarding the patient\’s condition

Level 1 RN with revalidation in place

- Shifts Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday
- Salary: Band 5 Equivalent
