We are delighted to offer an exciting part-time opportunity for a Non-Resident Oncology Fellow to join our specialist Oncology team at The London Clinic, based within our state-of-the-art Cancer Centre in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor looking to develop their oncology experience within a highly specialist, multidisciplinary environment, while also balancing clinical work with research, a Ph D, or other professional development opportunities.
Flexible working is a key feature of this role, with working patterns agreed in advance.
Additional flexibility may be available for candidates undertaking a higher degree, such as a Ph D.
We are also happy to arrange informal visits for candidates who would like to learn more about the role, our Cancer Centre, and the opportunities available at The London Clinic., Responsible for the clinical care and supervision of Oncology inpatients and outpatients, conducting assessment and clinical evaluations (Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy) in conjunction with the Consultants and multidisciplinary teams, including rewriting of drug charts, writing up TTOs etc.
Work closely with the Consultants and nursing staff to support patient treatments and management of symptom control, as appropriate.
Support management of acute oncological conditions including neutropenia sepsis, treatment related toxicities and other oncological emergencies.
