We have an exciting opportunity for a Molecular Imaging and Services manager to join our Multidisciplinary, Cancer Services team at The London Clinic. We are offering a competitive salary range (Band 8a NHS equivalent) starting from £60,848 per annum dependant on experience.
The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospitals, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres, and The Duchess of Devonshire Wing is our award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for Oncology & Haematology patients.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday; 9am-5.30pm
Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
Salary: Band 8a NHS equivalent

Key Duties:- The leadership of the team of radiographers and/or technologists, physicists and overall management of the running of the Molecular Imaging and Therapies service on a day-to-day basis ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Working closely with the Consultants, Referrers, Nuclear Medicine Physicians and Radiologists to ensure scans are of the highest quality and in line with best practice.
- To provide an efficient service and to ensure that patients remain in the department for the minimum possible time, consistent with satisfactory clinical, technical and radiological requirements.
- To liaise with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians and Referring Clinicians to initiate and develop new procedures and techniques.
- To organise routine/urgent work to optimise and maintain the throughput of patients in the department.
- Establish and oversee evidence-based practice, quality assurance, clinical audits, monthly activity statistics, optimisation and research studies.
