The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiographer to join our Radiology team as

Interventional & Fluoroscopy Imaging Clinical Lead

This leadership role combines advanced clinical practice with operational management, service development and team leadership.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Interventional Radiology (IR) and Fluoroscopy services, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, safe and efficient service while maintaining an active clinical presence within the department.

Working closely with Consultant Radiologists, senior radiology leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in driving service improvements, developing staff capability and supporting the continued growth of our Interventional Radiology service.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the daily operational and clinical management of the Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy services.
  • Supervising, mentoring and supporting a team of Radiographers to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Working alongside the Practice Educator to ensure training, competency and professional development requirements are achieved.
  • Coordinating the Interventional Radiologist on-call rota to maintain appropriate service provision.
  • Collaborating with Radiologists, booking teams and wider hospital stakeholders to ensure efficient patient pathways.

What We're Looking For

  • HCPC registered Radiographer.
  • Extensive experience within Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory or senior-level experience within a Radiology environment.
  • A passion for clinical excellence, staff development and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to leadership.
