We have an exciting opportunity for an International LOG’s coordinator to join our International team here at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive salary.
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include General surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Hepatobiliary, Neuro-spinal, Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and reconstructive, Robotic, Urology, Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).
As an International LOG’s coordinator your role will be to assist in the preparation and collection of Letters of Guarantee (LOGs) for patients that will have treatment. To assist and allocate missing Letters of Guarantee for patients that have had treatment but where there is a “missing” LOG. To obtain authorisations from international insurance companies, guarantee of payments (GOPs). Prioritisation of the accounts to work on. To provide an exceptional level of customer service support to international patients and their families and engender loyalty by being courteous, knowledgeable, available and efficient.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – flexible shifts between 9am and 7pm
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Duties:
- Detection of LOGS /GOPs that have been received and filed on the online portal but not found by the invoicing team
- Requesting missing LOGS from the purchasers along with collation of required information
- Maintaining a record of activities undertaken each day
- Weekly report of actions and successes in value and number terms
- Liaison with finance and other hospital departments
- Liaising directly with representatives, international insurers, government sponsors & embassies to obtain LOG’s, GOP and authorisations for treatment
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times, well-spoken and impeccable telephone manner and can work in an organised manner
Skills & Experience:
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times in accordance with the Clinic’s policy.
- Maturity, tact, patience, confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Be able to demonstrate a proactive, flexible approach to customer care.
- Show diplomacy and tact when dealing with visitors to the International Patient Office
- Team player and the ability to multitask under pressure and resolve issues with minimal supervision
