We have an exciting opportunity for Housekeeping Assistants to join our Housekeeping team. This role is a based in our Main Hospital site in Central London (W1G 6BW). We are also offering a competitive salary of ÂŁ24,856 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits.

Job Profile
The Housekeeping Assistant’s main duties are to ensure that all bedrooms, consulting rooms, waiting rooms, corridors, toilets and other facilities in allocated areas are cleaned and maintained to the standard laid down by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.
- Salary: ÂŁ24,856 per annum
- Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW – and any other consulting houses located in the immediate vicinity. (Nearest tube stations are Great Portland Street, Baker Street and Regents Park)

Key Duties
- To clean and tidy all waiting rooms, toilets, staff rooms, patient bedrooms, changing rooms and ancillary areas, offices etc, departments, clinical areas using the correct amounts and types of cleaning materials and equipment as specified on cleaning schedule and Standard Operating Procedures for Catering and Housekeeping.
- To carry out requests made by consultants, secretaries and staff such as replenishing of stock, supplying extra linen and Catering and Porters as required.
- To be available to work around the clinic in any of the buildings and available to carry out any reasonable duties and instructions given to you and by the Housekeeping Manager, Catering Manager, Deputy Housekeeping Manager or Catering and Housekeeping Supervisors in any of the Clinic properties cleaned by Housekeeping.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a professional housekeeper in a healthcare environment is highly advantageous.
- A good understanding of written and spoken English is essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
