As a Theatre Scrub Practitioner, you will play an important part in each patient's surgical journey. You will prepare for procedures, support the surgical team and make sure the theatre remains safe, organised and ready. You will work closely with colleagues who value teamwork, clear communication and high standards of patient care., What you will be doing
- Preparing instruments, equipment and supplies for surgery
- Scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures
- Anticipating the needs of the surgeon and theatre team
- Maintaining a safe and sterile theatre environment
- Completing WHO safety checks and accurate patient records
- Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, recovery practitioners and theatre colleagues
- Supporting students and new members of the team
- Helping us improve patient care and theatre services
