As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will facilitate the provision of a coordinated, high-quality outpatient service in consultation with the Outpatient Manager.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Saturday.
- Shifts: Earlies & lates covering the Outpatients service from 8am to 8pm. The early shift may start at 7:30am, and the late shift may extend until 8:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as in-charge and deputy when the Manager is absent.
- Work clinically and adhere to the NMC Code.
- Mentor and facilitate junior staff to achieve clinical competence and performance.
- Ensure effective management of the department, working with senior and junior staff to deliver high standards of nursing care.
- Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Skills & Experience
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Extensive outpatient experience, ideally in surgical fields such as Gynaecology, ENT, Dermatology, Orthopedics, or Colorectal.
- Recognised training in Gynae, Colposcopy, and Hysteroscopy.
- Experience as a Practice Assessor/Supervisor.
