You will work alongside leading plastic surgeons, helping patients feel informed, reassured and well cared for throughout their treatment. - Assess patients attending the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Outpatients department and develop individualised care plans. Provide safe pre and post-operative nursing care, including patient preparation, observations and recovery monitoring. Undertake wound assessments, dressing changes and ongoing wound management in line with clinical guidance. Provide clear advice to patients about wound care, recovery, medication and when to seek further support. Recognise signs of infection, deterioration or complications and upscale concerns promptly to the appropriate clinician. Assist Consultants and the Plastics CNS during outpatient consultations, treatments and minor procedures.
