We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at The London Clinic. The Finance Team plays a key role in supporting the effective operation of The London Clinic by providing financial insight, reporting and guidance across the organisation. Working closely with operational and clinical teams, the department helps ensure resources are managed effectively while supporting the delivery of outstanding patient care.

The Role

Working closely with the Management Accounting team, you will support the preparation of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities, helping to ensure the organisation has accurate and timely financial information to support operational and strategic decisions. This is a varied role that combines financial analysis, reporting and business partnering. You will work with colleagues across the organisation, building strong working relationships and providing financial insight to support effective resource management and service delivery. The role would suit someone looking to build on their existing finance experience and develop a career in management accounting within a large and complex organisation. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of financial activities while contributing to process improvements and the continuous development of the Finance function.

This is a full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Head Office at 1 Park Square West, with the flexibility to work from home two days per week following a successful induction period.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Assisting with month end and year end processes, including journal preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Supporting budget holders and senior managers by providing accurate financial information and analysis.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
  • Investigating financial variances and supporting the implementation of corrective actions where required.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting, controls and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations and internal policies.
