We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join The London Clinic on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, based at our head office in London (NW1 4LJ). We are offering a competitive salary. Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk your role will be to assist in ensuring the completeness, accuracy and validity of transactions for goods and services processed and paid for through Purchase Ledger.
Job Type: This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a 12-month FTC
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Job Location: 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ (Close to Regents Park / Baker St tube stations).

Key Duties:
- Maintain responsibility for the day to day running of catering department in connection with catering supervisors.
- Coordinate daily tasks and the working schedule of Catering team.
- Establishing and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships, liaising regularly with business partners and non-clinical managers to ensure a high level of service is delivered and targets are met.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning to the relevant contractor or department.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
Skills & Experience:
- GCSE Grade 5 or equivalent in Maths and English.
- To have previous experience with a computerised accounting system.
- To have previous administration experience within an accounting environment.
- To have a basic understanding of how an AP department works.
- To be numerically strong.
- To have a neat and methodical approach to clerical tasks.
