Product Manager – Group Buying

Are you a commercially minded Product Manager who loves spotting opportunities, building great product ranges and getting new products off the ground?

This industry-leading provider of business supplies and services continues to grow — and they’re looking for an experienced Product Manager

This is a great opportunity to take real ownership of a product portfolio, build strong supplier relationships and have a genuine impact on sales and profitability.

You’ll be joining a busy Group Buying team, working across product, purchasing, suppliers and sales to make sure customers get the right products, at the right price, at the right time.

What you'll be doing

  • Take ownership of product ranges across a number of sales channels
  • Build and develop strong, long-term supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and commercial agreements
  • Identify new products and opportunities to grow the range
  • Keep an eye on market trends, competitors and what customers are looking for
  • Work with suppliers to improve performance and resolve any issues
  • Support category plans and help drive sales and margin
  • Get involved in tenders, sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing and Operations teams
  • Keep product and supplier activity compliant with company standards

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is commercially switched-on, confident dealing with suppliers and enjoys making things happen.

You’ll ideally have experience in:

  • Product Management, Buying, Purchasing or Category Management
  • Supplier negotiation and relationship management
  • Analysing data and using it to make commercial decisions
  • Managing several projects and priorities at once
  • Working with manufacturers and well-known brands
  • Communicating confidently with suppliers and internal teams

You’ll also need to be organised, commercially curious and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Nice to have

Experience within the business supplies and services sector would be useful, but it’s not essential.
