Due to the location, it is essential that you can drive here.
As an Ocean Freight & Customs Coordinator, you'll play a key role in managing international shipments from start to finish. Combining customs expertise with freight forwarding operations, you'll ensure vehicles and cargo move smoothly, compliantly, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage import and export sea freight shipments from booking through to delivery.
- Prepare and process customs declarations for air and ocean freight.
- Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, ports, agents, and internal teams to coordinate shipments.
- Raise and discharge T-Forms and support bonded warehouse and customs procedures.
- Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
- Provide regular updates and exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records across customs and operational systems.
- Previous experience in customs clearance and freight forwarding operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
- Experience using Destin8, CNS, Sequoia and/or Freight Fax systems.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Work with a specialist team handling high-value and luxury automotive logistics.
