We're working with a well-established freight forwarding company with over 40 years of success and a worldwide presence.
Thanks to continued growth, they're looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join their friendly Basildon team.
Whether your background is in full load road freight, sea freight forwarding, or a combination of both, if you enjoy building relationships and winning business, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Working closely with the commercial and operations teams, you'll be responsible for developing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing inbound sales enquiries and preparing competitive quotations.
- Building and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Following up quotations and converting opportunities into bookings.
- Promoting the company's full range of freight forwarding services.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identifying opportunities to grow customer accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and sales activity.
