As an Import Operator, you will play a key role in managing the import processes, including coordinating shipments, liaising with customers, hauliers, and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role involves handling bills of lading, understanding INCO Terms, and supporting invoicing processes. No customs clearance knowledge is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Job Loading & Coordination: Handle the loading of jobs, ensuring correct paperwork and communication with hauliers, carriers, and customers.
- Customer & Haulier Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for customers and hauliers, maintaining smooth communication to ensure timely deliveries and issue resolution.
- Bills of Lading & Documentation: Manage and process bills of lading, ensuring all documentation is accurate and in compliance with shipping and delivery standards.
- Invoicing & Admin: Process and prepare invoices, ensuring all job details are correctly documented and invoiced to clients.
- INCO Terms Management: Ensure correct usage of INCO Terms when managing shipping arrangements and contracts.
