The Lodge is an elegant and characterful Victorian house, located on Spicer Road, close to the centre of Exeter. Responsibilities
- As the Registered Home Manager, lead a large, diverse team and contribute to residents' welfare.
- Work collaboratively to ensure a positive contribution to residents' welfare.
- Ensure the Home delivers quality standards of care in accordance with operating policies, procedures, and all statutory requirements.
- Ensure the effective management of the Home in conjunction with Heads of Department within the Home.
- Contribute to the establishment of the Home Management Plan and be responsible for managing the home budget.
- Develop and undertake initiatives to maximise occupancy and revenue growth.
- Be responsible for the safe, happy, efficient and cost-effective running of the Home and ensure quality standards of care enabling residents to live as full and independent a life as possible.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Home in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies, maximising occupancy.
Recruitment process
The first stage of the process will be an interview via Teams and held on the week commencing 9th March 2026. The second stage of the process will be held in person at The Lodge Care Home on 16 March 2026 and will include resident and staff discussion panels and a final panel interview.
