Responsibilities
- Handle general haulage and pallet network multi-drop deliveries/collections
- Use the latest technology such as electronic POD devices and electronic walk-around checks (full training provided)
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with the transport team
- Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- Fully qualified HGV Class 2 driver with CPC
- Valid Digi card
- Good understanding of tachograph and WTD rules
- Strong geographical knowledge
- Motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Good verbal communication and excellent customer service skills; professional approach
- HGV Class 2 licence is essential
The role is based at our Ambergate site. Working hours are flexible, operating Monday to Friday.
Wage: minimum of 44 hours paid per week at £13.80 per hour (when a full week is complete). Additional bonus: Driver incentive bonus up to £200 per month.
