Responsibilities

  • Handle general haulage and pallet network multi-drop deliveries/collections
  • Use the latest technology such as electronic POD devices and electronic walk-around checks (full training provided)
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with the transport team
  • Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified HGV Class 2 driver with CPC
  • Valid Digi card
  • Good understanding of tachograph and WTD rules
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible
  • Good verbal communication and excellent customer service skills; professional approach
  • HGV Class 2 licence is essential

The role is based at our Ambergate site. Working hours are flexible, operating Monday to Friday.

Wage: minimum of 44 hours paid per week at £13.80 per hour (when a full week is complete). Additional bonus: Driver incentive bonus up to £200 per month.
