Living Care is a leading healthcare provider delivering high quality, expert led care across Yorkshire.

We are currently looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to identify and develop business opportunities.

You will grow private revenue by winning and retaining commercial relationships with professional and semi-professional sports clubs.

In addition, you will engage with corporate organisations and promote our health screening service and other treatments.

Core to the role is maintaining existing client relationships, analysing current strategies and developing improved action plans, while seeking out new opportunities.

This is a commercially accountable, target-carrying role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Account management: Own and grow relationships with existing sports club partners through face-to-face and digital engagement, maximising retention and account value across the season and transfer windows.
  • New business: Identify, approach and win new sports club and corporate clients for health screening and other private services, building and maintaining a qualified pipeline.
  • CRM & tracking discipline: Record every opportunity, contact, contract and outcome in CRM and maintain the pipeline stage from the point of first contact;
  • Strategy: Develop and deploy an engagement and account-growth plan built on profitable, measurable revenue streams.
  • Reporting: Gather, analyse and interpret internal and external data and produce clear reports on pipeline, conversion and revenue performance.
  • Representation: Represent Living Care at events, conferences, club / corporate meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a seamless client and patient experience.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activity adheres to CQC regulations / guidelines and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or similar
  • High level of communication skills
  • Full UK driving license

Skills and competencies

  • Proven experience in a business development, commercial or field sales role,
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build a profitable, well-managed pipeline.
  • Excellent relationship-builder.
  • Confident using CRM systems (Pipedrive or similar), MS Office and reporting tools, with genuine discipline around data accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised and able to manage a pipeline independently.
  • Experience selling to sports clubs, corporate clients or occupational health would be a plus.
