We are searching for a Senior Health, Safety & Environment Manager who will act as a role model by leading the development of a high-performance HS&E culture. This person will deliver personal dedication and resilience in the steadfast pursuit of continuous improvement in HSE practices and performance across our EMEA region. This role will provide operational and strategic support across HSE regulatory and corporate compliance to our Commercial and Operations business units. The ability to influence positively is key in this role, along with being an effective communicator who can convey messages effectively, prioritising communication skills and delivery.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing and managing HSE regional policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Implementing HSE strategic plans for Commercial and Operations locations, including supporting country-specific EPR regulations and initiatives.
  • Overseeing HSE initiatives to support our business needs, including advising business units and in-country management on HSE issues.
  • Coordinating financial resources for Operations and Commercial areas.
  • Delivering safety training programs across the EMEA region and maintaining records.
  • Directing safety procedures for emergency response and business continuity.
  • Standardising HSE management systems across the EMEA region.
  • Promoting and driving a continuous improvement safety culture with behaviour-based safety programs.
  • Reporting ESG/Sustainability metrics monthly.
  • Supporting ISO certification systems & leading and participating in HSE audits.
  • Supervising environmental impacts according to HSE policy and regulations.
  • Leading worker compensation/liability claims management.

What will you need to be successful?

We are seeking a highly experienced HS&E professional with an extensive background in leading policies and practices across multiple regions. You'll hold a Qualifying Degree or a similar level qualification in a relevant field, or the equivalent level of experience. If you have a background in a highly regulated and complex HS&E environment, that's a huge bonus!
