About this Role

St Augustine Academy is lookingto appoint an Administration Assistant to join our friendly andhelpful reception team. As the first point of contact for the academy, the roleis essential in creating a positive first impression. The role also plays avital part in ensuring the smooth day-to‑day running of our office, providingessential administrative support to the team and contributing to the ongoingsuccess of the Academy.

Specific tasks will varyaccording to the term, however typical duties include:

  • Toprovide high-qualityreprographic support,including copying, binding,etc. for teaching and non-teachingstaff in accordance with Academy guidelines.
  • Towork efficiently and accuratelyas a member of the Academy's busy andreception and administrationteam.
  • Toperform administrative tasks in a timely manner, including letters home toparents/students, using mail merge and creating reports from Arbor, filing,typing confidential notes and franking post.
  • Toensure an efficient, effective and welcoming reception function for the Academy,foyer and meeting room.

The successful candidate willneed to be flexible, adaptable and resourceful as well as having high levels oforganisational skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills andparticipate in any relevant training.

Thebasis of this role is working 24 hours per week, term time, + inset days (39weeks in total) and offering an actual salary of (approximately). (FTE, WATgrade D pt. 6-9).
