Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Front Office Manager to lead the reception and guest services team at our prestigious 5★ luxury hotel. This is a key leadership position responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience, ensuring seamless front office operations, and maintaining the highest standards of service synonymous with luxury hospitality. The successful candidate will be passionate about service excellence, operational efficiency, and team development, with a proven track record within a high‑end hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front office operations including Reservations, Guest Services, Porters, and night audit
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered and exceeded
- Lead, coach, and develop the front office team to achieve high performance and engagement
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Handle VIP arrivals, guest feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain strong communication with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety, and brand standards
- Drive upselling initiatives and maximise revenue opportunities
Qualifications Requirements
- Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a 4★ or 5★ hotel
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards
- Experience with hotel management systems (e.g., REZ Control, SevenRooms)
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanour
