Affinity Landscapes Ltd is an established, independent company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality grounds and landscape maintenance services to commercial clients across the South and South East.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Team Lead to oversee a small, skilled team delivering exceptional grounds and landscape maintenance services. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for organising daily tasks, supporting and motivating your team, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

You will act as the primary point of contact on site, confidently liaising with clients, resolving issues promptly, and escalating any concerns when required. Your ability to lead, communicate effectively, and maintain high standards of workmanship will be key to the success of your team.

Standard working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm, with paid travel from base. Optional overtime available. You must be able to get to our Farnham base in Badshot Lea. Company vehicles are provided for travel to and from client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a small landscape maintenance team on a daily basis.
  • Plan and organise workloads to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Deliver hands-on grounds and landscape maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company health and safety procedures.
  • Provide guidance, support and on-the-job training to team members.
  • Conduct site checks to maintain quality standards and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively, escalating where necessary.
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools and horticultural machinery are used safely and maintained appropriately.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven grounds or landscape maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Professional, reliable and client-focused approach.
  • Confident operating a range of horticultural machinery.
  • Ability to motivate others and maintain high standards of work.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (LCV driving experience would be advantageous).
