The Role We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of renewable energy projects. From residential installations to large-scale commercial developments and ongoing maintenance services, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be working closely with our Head of Operations, fellow Project Managers, and installation teams. We want someone who thrives in a team environment but also takes initiative to drive success and continuously develop their skills. Responsibilities: Project Leadership : Own the full project lifecycle, from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track. Resource & Budget Management : Allocate resources efficiently and track budgets to maintain financial and operational success. Risk & Problem-Solving : Anticipate challenges, manage project risks effectively, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Performance & Reporting : Use data-driven insights to measure progress, manage scope changes, and keep stakeholders informed. Client & Partner Engagement : Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and third parties to ensure smooth execution and future business opportunities. Business Growth Contribution : Support the assessment and progression of new business leads and development opportunities. What we’re looking for: Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of Solar PV, battery storage, and EV systems. Project Management : Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing renewable energy projects. Exceptional Organisational Skills : Able to juggle multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and keep everything moving seamlessly. Outstanding Communication : Confident in leading teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels. Leadership & Team Motivation : Capable of inspiring and guiding installation teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results. Detail-Oriented & Strategic Thinker : Anticipates potential issues, manages risks proactively, and maintains high attention to detail. Adaptability & Initiative : Thrives in a dynamic environment, is hands-on, and always looks for ways to improve processes. Risk & Compliance : Experience with risk management, industry regulations, and health & safety compliance. Supplier & Contract Management : Ability to manage third-party relationships and contracts effectively. Certifications : Electrical qualifications, including IOSH, City & Guilds, and NVQ. Extra Credit: Renewable Qualifications : BPEC Solar Installer, Battery Storage, EV certifications. Certifications : Part P Domestic Installer Certification, Gold Card, Black Card. H&S & Compliance : First Aid, plant certification, CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS.
