The Role We seek a proactive, results-oriented Field Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects, from residential installations to large commercial developments and maintenance. The role involves travel to project sites, overseeing on-ground work, and ensuring safety, timeliness, and quality standards. As a trained electrician, you will bring technical expertise and leadership, solving on-site issues and guiding teams. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Operations, Project Managers, and installation teams, demonstrating initiative, teamwork, and a passion for project execution. Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinate with stakeholders to meet milestones within scope, time, and budget. Site Management & Supervision: Oversee daily operations, conduct site inspections, and address issues promptly. Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure legal compliance. Resource & Workforce Management: Manage onsite workforce and resources efficiently. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Maintain communication with clients and management, providing progress updates and addressing concerns. Quality Assurance & Problem-Solving: Ensure quality standards, identify risks, and troubleshoot operational issues. What we’re looking for: Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Solar PV, battery storage, and EV systems. Certifications: Qualified Electrician, 18th Edition, Level 3 (IOSH, City & Guilds, NVQ). Experience: Minimum 3+ years managing renewable energy projects. Skills: Organizational, communication, leadership, attention to detail, adaptability, risk management, and contract management. Extra Credit: Renewable Qualifications: BPEC Solar Installer, Battery Storage, EV certifications. Additional Certifications: Part P Domestic Installer, Gold Card, Black Card.
