Must be over 18 due to the sale of alcohol. This role is from 1st March until end August. Shifts available Wednesday - Sundays. Must be available weekends.
We are a fast-paced street food business located in the very popular event space, The Goods Yard, on Folkestone Harbour Arm. The Goods Yard at Folkestone Harbour Arm is fast becoming THE place to be in South East Kent for food & drink. We work very hard but it is incredibly fun.
We are seeking a front of house member to join our team. This is a customer facing role and therefore previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Responsibilities:- Greeting all customers warmly on arrival
- Using our EPOS till system to take customer orders & payments
- Assisting with the preparation & serving of drinks
- Restocking the drinks fridge
- Responding quickly and sympathetically to any customer concerns
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations and a strong allergen awareness
- Supporting colleagues and staff during busy periods, including food & drink serving
- Liaising with the kitchen staff to ensure an efficient and seamless service
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- At least 1 year's experience in a customer facing role such as receptionist, customer services, tills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great team work
- Ability to work hard and under pressure.
Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour
