London – The Lister Hospital, Fertility Clinic
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: 8am – 6pm 4 days a week or 8am – 4pm 5 days a week (with one Saturday per month 8am – 1pm). This is a temporary role from November 2026 to November 2027.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement (for working weekends and bank holidays).
We're looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Lister Fertility Clinic, The Lister Hospital. As the UK's largest private IVF unit, Lister Fertility Clinic has been supporting patients through fertility treatment for more than 35 years, combining exceptional clinical expertise with compassionate, personalised care.
As a Healthcare Assistant within Lister Fertility Clinic, you'll play a key role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. Working closely with nurses, consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team, you'll provide compassionate, patient-centred care, assist with clinical procedures, undertake observations and diagnostic testing, and help ensure a seamless experience for patients during what can be a highly emotional and significant time in their lives. You'll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll Bring:
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within an acute hospital environment
- Previous experience in a fertility clinic is essential
- Competency in monitoring and recording patient observations, including blood pressure, oxygen saturations, blood glucose monitoring and ECG recordings
- Experience undertaking venepuncture and cannulation is essential
- Excellent communication skills, a compassionate patient-centred approach, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
