London: Lister Fertility @ The Lister Hospital. 12 month fixed term contract: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday with rotational weekends. The post will also require you to participate in an on-call system which is set up for the cryo alarm. Salary: Competitive.
We are recruiting for an Embryologist to join the team at Lister Fertility Clinic @ The Lister Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract. As an Embryologist, you'll work with our talented teams to support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred fertility treatments. The Embryologist will perform all aspects of the routine embryology service offered by the Fertility Unit; including oocyte/embryo handling, fertilisation checks, culture, embryo grading and cryopreservation. Routine laboratory maintenance and administration is also a requirement for this post.
Responsibilities

- Carry out routine laboratory maintenance and administration tasks as required by the unit.
- Contribute to safe, effective and patient-centred fertility treatments in collaboration with the team.
Requirements
- BSc in Life Science or equivalent qualification.
- STP programme or a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Embryologist (candidates without STP may be considered with equivalent experience).
- Robust knowledge of and adherence to HFEA regulations, clinic SOPs and quality management systems.
- Clinical ICSI experience.
- Biopsy trained (desirable, not essential).
