We’re on the lookout for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team to ensure the Inn and grounds are maintained and presented to a high standard, creating a welcoming appearance to ensure a fantastic guest experience.
Your day to day as a Maintenance Assistant:
- You will support the Team by ensuring all areas of our properties are presented to a very high standard.
- You will need to plan and deliver a program of maintenance and improvements.
- You will get involved in all minor aspects of plumbing, grounds maintenance, small DIY tasks, decorating and changing the odd light bulb!
- Manage our linen store and stock.
- In your less busy times, you might be required to support our housekeeping team in the general duties of room changeover and some general cleaning throughout the property.
Who are we looking for?
As Maintenance Assistant, you must be highly organised and focused with a great eye for detail. You’ll need to be aware of our busy periods, working around our guests to ensure they have a fabulous experience. Prior experience would be advantageous; however, we’re keen to hear from people who have a genuine desire and flair for mending things and making our stunning Inn look great.
Maintenance Assistant is a full-time permanent role and will require flexibility to work 5 days out of 7 including some weekends and bank holidays when necessary and we will be happy to discuss your needs when we meet. We can also consider job share or part time.
