Self-Employed Qualified Counsellor (Welfare Partnership) (Internal Applicants Only)
Term: Hourly
Job Description
Listening Post is currently looking for self-employed counsellors to work within our Welfare Partnership contract. This contract supports businesses to access a 6-week program of counselling for their employees through Listening Post, and is primarily done online, therefore the ideal candidate will have experience of providing short-term online counselling.
Listening Post has partnered with a number of local businesses to provide counselling sessions for their employees. When an employee is referred to us Listening Post will liaise with the counsellor and provide a room for the counselling to take place in (or access to a Video Telehealth session if online), access to our client management system, receptionist duties and certain other administrative tasks, as well as arranging and providing free supervision for the counsellor. The counsellor in turn must hold their own insurance, must agree to work within the BACP ethical framework, must agree to abide by our various policies (safeguarding, diversity, data protection, etc.), and as a self-employed contractor will be responsible for paying their own tax and National Insurance, and invoicing us for any sessions carried out (at a rate of Β£25 per session).
Please note this is for internal applicants only.
