Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny required for a warm, informal family in Kent. Join a friendly, busy household to support a welcoming career couple and their three energetic children. The role is full-time, live-in, with weekends off. Accommodation and all bills are provided, and travel related to work is covered.

Responsibilities

  • Family logistics: oversee school runs, uniforms, homework, and day-to-day activities, including after-school schedules and packed meals.
  • Household management: keep the home clean and organised, shop for provisions, and oversee contractors while the children are at school.
  • Cooking: prepare home-cooked meals and nutritious lunches/teas as required.
  • Tech coordination: use technology to manage logistics, schedules, and communication; engage with music, gadgets, and apps relevant to the children.
  • Engagement: devise creative activities to keep the children engaged, balancing fun with a firm, fair approach when needed.

About You / Qualifications

  • Highly organised, resourceful, and capable of running a busy family home with minimal supervision; initiative is key.
  • Firm yet friendly with the children, able to keep them engaged and motivated.
  • Experience in childcare/nannying is valued, with a cheerful, positive attitude.
  • Able to cook simple family meals and comfortable shopping for household needs.
  • Confident driver (car provided for work purposes).
  • Tech confident—comfortable using apps, smart devices, and online tools.

Location: Kent

Hours: 07:00 – 21:00, Monday to Friday. Flexibility during school hours for personal time if tasks are complete; occasional late finish if parents are working late.

Accommodation: Fully furnished, all bills included.

Autonomy: No micro-management; you’ll be trusted to run your day and the home efficiently.

Start Date: As soon as the right person is found.
