Role Overview
As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to guests during catered events. You'll work as part of a team to ensure food and beverages are served efficiently, tables are well-presented, and guests receive a high standard of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare banquet rooms according to event requirements
- Lay tables, arrange place settings, and ensure all service areas are fully stocked
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
- Clear tables and assist with event breakdown and clean-up
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
- Work closely with chefs, supervisors, and event coordinators
Requirements
- Previous hospitality or catering experience preferred (training provided for the right candidates)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Good personal presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
